Product Marketing Manager

We’re seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join the NetEase North American Marketing team, this position reports to the Sr. Product Marketing Manager. This candidate has experience in Product Marketing strategies and planning, has executed initiatives to foster growth and awareness in mobile free-to-play games.

Responsibilities:

  • Product branding, positioning and overall marketing strategies for assigned mobile games, working with functional teams in publishing – creative services, analytics, product team, and user acquisition
  • Create and coordinate assets and other creative marketing material during the development lifecycle (key art, trailers, screenshots, product copy, websites, etc.) with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Support live service operation marketing programs including events, promotions, sales and feature releases
  • Research, recruit and onboard new strategic content creators on targeted platforms, via agency, and building relationships directly
  • Analyze and identify opportunities to reactivate existing contest creators
  • Develop and manage reporting to monitor/measure influencer performance  
  • Monitor and review new social media platforms and marketing channels to reach target audiences
  • Stay up-to-date on gaming trends to identify new opportunities for diversification
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities intended for the North American market such as brand marketing partnerships and/or licensed IPs
  • Account management of key marketing partners once on-boarded

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years’ experience in Consumer Internet, Video, or Online Gaming
  • Bachelors in Marketing, Business Administration required; Masters degree a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in brand positioning, messaging and driving product creative strategies and execution
  • Experience in strategic planning, contracting, and negotiating
  • Experience working with complex licensing agreements
  • Excellent professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player, with the ability to build internal networks and collaborate across multiple teams to accomplish product and business goals 
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Ability to simultaneously manage several projects and priorities
  • Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings
  • Strong Powerpoint and presentation skills
